Renewing your license
Licenses expire every 2 years on your birthday. You can renew up to 120 days before your license expires.
Renewal requirements
Have your required continuing education completed: 28 hours including 7-hour Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). You'll need to provide your certificate of completion.
Update your contact information online, if necessary, before you renew your license.

Log into SecureAccess Washington (SAW) or create an account to apply, upload your paperwork, and pay the licensing fee.
Renew your license by mail
Complete a Real Estate Appraiser/Appraiser Trainee Renewal Affidavit.
Mail your form and a check or money order (payable to the Department of Licensing) for the renewal fee to:
