Who needs instructor approval?
You must apply for approval before teaching real estate courses for clock-hour credit. After reviewing your application, we will send you a certificate of instructor approval.
When does instructor approval expire?
Your certificate of instructor approval expires and must be renewed after 2 years.
Apply to be a new real estate instructor
Follow these steps to get approved as a real estate instructor.
1. Gather what you'll need
- A Real Estate Instructor Approval Application
- A cover letter stating why you feel qualified to teach the chosen topics
- All documentation supporting your qualifications as an instructor
- Your current resume
- Payment for the instructor approval fee (for a 2-year period)
2. Submit your application
