We do not discriminate on the basis of disability in our programs, services, activities, and employment practices. If you need help with communication or reasonable modification to our programs, services, or activities, contact our ADA Coordinator as soon as possible. This could include:
- A sign language interpreter
- An assistive listening device
- Print material in digital format
- Some other auxiliary aid or service
How to request accommodations from DOL
You may request a reasonable modification by emailing us at ADA@dol.wa.gov. In your message requesting a reasonable modification, please tell us:
- What kind of DOL services you need
- The office location you would like us to serve you at
- What kind of modification/accommodation you would like to request
We’re committed to honoring requests whenever possible. Sometimes state and/or federal law or regulations prohibit us from granting some modifications. If this is the case, we'll offer alternative modifications allowed for by law.
Due to high demand, most sign language and tactile interpreters are scheduling appointments 2 to 3 weeks in advance. Please contact ADA@dol.wa.gov before making an appointment. This will help us work to ensure an interpreter is available for your appointment.
If you require an accommodation to access our programs, facilities, or services, call 360-902-3900 or staff in our community-based licensing offices can assist you. If you are unable to get an accommodation or have an ADA complaint, contact our ADA Compliance Manager at ada@dol.wa.gov.
